Admissions

The Admissions Process

1. Research

Spend some time learning about Koinonia by investigating our website, attending an information session, and/or requesting a call with one of our board members to hear more and answer your questions. Once you have researched Koinonia, please dedicate time to discussing this schooling option with your spouse and bringing this specific intention to prayer to discern if God may be calling you to submit an application.

2. Apply

Submit an application form and pay the $50 per family application fee upon scheduling your family interview.

3. Family Interview & Student Assessment

After submitting your application, you will receive an email to schedule your family interview and student assessment(s). For the family interview, both spouses and all potential students for the 2026-2027 academic year must be in attendance. For the assessment, one parent and all potential students must be in attendance. It is of utmost importance to us that our mission, vision, values, and desired culture are communicated upfront so that applicants may have all of the information they need to properly discern if they are interested in enrolling their children at Koinonia. Please bring any and all questions to the family interview for our board to answer.

4. Discern

You will receive an email within one week of the completion of your family interview and student assessment(s) informing you of our board’s discernment and decision on your family’s acceptance to Koinonia. Acceptance does not guarantee that we will have room in our classes for your child. Please spend the time between your family interview and enrollment opening to pray and discern. If anything about our hybrid academy is unclear even after your family interview, please contact us for clarification so you are equipped to make the right decision for your family.

5. Enroll

Re-enrollment for current families begins January 2nd, 2026. Enrollment for new families begins January 16th, 2026. Class sizes are limited. Priority will be given to currently enrolled students then siblings of currently enrolled students before opening to new families. A $100 enrollment fee per student (maximum of $300 per family) will be required to secure enrollment.
